How Event Type Availability Works
An event type's availability windows narrow a professional's own hours. They can never widen them.
Details
- If you set a Discovery Call to Tuesdays 9–12, it is offered only where those hours overlap hours the professional already published.
- A professional who does not work Tuesdays offers no Discovery Call slots, no matter what the event type says.
- Block rules and out-of-office exceptions pass through untouched — narrowing a block would add bookable time, which is the wrong direction.
- The worst a misconfigured event type can do is show no slots. It can never book someone outside their calendar.
Good to know
- An event type showing zero availability is almost always a window that does not overlap anyone's working hours. Check the professional's weekly schedule before checking anything else.
