Event Types
Bookable appointment definitions, their own booking pages, and per-event scheduling rules.
- What Event Types AreAn event type is one bookable thing you offer — a Discovery Call, a 30-minute consultation, a trial lesson. It carries its own length, description, location and public booking page, so a visitor books that specific thing rather than an unlabelled block of your time. Event types were previously called Services.
- Creating & Customising an Event TypeOpen Settings → Event Types and add one. Everything except the name and duration is optional, and anything left unset falls back to your business-level setting.
- How Event Type Availability WorksAn event type's availability windows narrow a professional's own hours. They can never widen them.
- Where Event Types AppearActive event types are listed under 'Book an appointment' on your public business page, showing duration, location and price, each linking to its own page.
- Archiving & Deleting an Event TypeEvent types can be archived and restored, and archived ones are hidden behind 'view archived'. Deleting is refused where something still depends on it — the delete would break a record or a page someone is holding a link to.
