Your Three Booking Addresses

Booking is three different intentions, so it is three pages rather than one page that changes shape depending on what you have set up.

Details

  • /business/{slug}/bookavailableslot is the open one: pick a person, pick a time, no account needed. This is what the View Availability buttons on your public pages point at, and it stays the same whether or not you use event types.
  • /business/{slug}/bookanevent lists every event type you offer, each linking to its own page — its own length, its own hours, its own address to share. It only exists while you have at least one.
  • /business/{slug}/sessions is for enrolled clients spending pack credits. It asks them to sign in first, because a session comes out of a pack and the page cannot know whose credits to spend until it knows who is asking.
  • That last address used to redirect to the availability page. A saved link still gets you there: the sign-in page offers open times alongside it, one click away.
  • The names differ because packs sell 'sessions' and an event type can be named one too. Two addresses a single letter apart meant opposite things: one free to book, the other spending a pack credit.
