Buffers, Notice, Horizon & Daily Caps

Settings → Scheduling Setup → Booking Rules sets the guardrails that apply to every booking in the business — appointments, pack sessions and 1:1 meetings alike.

Details

Buffers before / after: keeps a gap either side of every booking for travel, notes, or a breather. The gap stops being offered to anyone else. Capped at 120 minutes per side.
Minimum notice: how far ahead someone must book, so nobody drops a slot on you in ten minutes.
Maximum horizon: how far into the future the calendar is open.
Maximum bookings per day: once reached, that day is hidden for that professional. 0 means no cap.

Good to know

An event type with its own value overrides the business setting. An explicit 0 on an event type means 'no buffer for this one' — it does not fall back to the business default.
Buffers widen every booked block, so raising them shrinks what is offered everywhere at once. Change them and then look at a real day before assuming the calendar is broken.
