Scheduling & Booking
Availability, seasonal hours, buffers, booking rules, rescheduling, and cancellation windows.
- Setting Your Weekly ScheduleAvailability rules define the repeating times when clients can book appointments with you.
- Seasonal Hours & Date-Ranged RulesA repeating rule can be given a season — a start date, an end date, or both — so a schedule change can be set up ahead of time instead of being remembered on the day.
- Buffers, Notice, Horizon & Daily CapsSettings → Scheduling Setup → Booking Rules sets the guardrails that apply to every booking in the business — appointments, pack sessions and 1:1 meetings alike.
- What Bookings Are Called in Your CalendarUnder Settings → Scheduling Setup → Booking Rules you can set the title NextAvailableSlot writes into your connected Google or Outlook calendar. This matters most when that calendar is shared with people who should not see client names.
- Adding Date ExceptionsIf you need to make one-off changes to your standard weekly hours without rewriting your schedule, use exceptions.
- Booking 1:1 Meetings & AppointmentsAppointments are standalone bookings taken from a provider's open availability. They do not consume plan credits.
- Your Three Booking AddressesBooking is three different intentions, so it is three pages rather than one page that changes shape depending on what you have set up.
- Rescheduling a ClassOwners and professionals can move a class in either direction, including into the past — useful when a class was logged on the wrong day. Clients can only move a class that has not started yet.
- Why a Class Cannot Be RescheduledRescheduling is limited so that it can never rewrite a period you have already paid for. Two rules apply, and both are about protecting settled money.
- Cancellation WindowsA cancellation policy used to be free text with nothing behind it. Setting a cancellation window under Settings → Business Setup → Plans & Payouts makes it enforceable: clients cannot raise a cancellation request inside the window.
- “Make Me Look Busy” ControlEnsure your calendar doesn't look completely empty to public visitors. Turning on Look Busy thins out the number of public slots displayed.
