Archiving a Plan Instead of Deleting It
Deleting a plan someone bought into would orphan their enrollment — sessions, payments, payouts and analytics all resolve a pack's name, price and session count through it. So a plan in use cannot be deleted at all.
Details
- Delete is refused whenever any enrollment references the plan, in any status. A plan nobody ever bought still deletes normally.
- Archiving retires the plan from every buying surface and forces it inactive. Restoring it leaves publishing back up to you.
- Archived plans are hidden behind 'View archived plans (n)' on the Plans tab, do not count against the 8-plan limit, and cannot be edited until restored.
- Retiring your last plan no longer hides Payments, Fee Structures or historical reporting — the dashboard asks whether you have ever run plans, not whether you run one today.
Good to know
- Enrollments on an archived plan stay live. Its clients keep their credits and still need somewhere to book them, which is why the event type it sells stays credit-backed.
